What You'll Learn
This First Steps class is intended for all individuals wanting to learn gun safety and home defense with a firearm . No previous gun experience is necessary. ACT Personal Defense will supply everything you need, gun and ammo included.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. Fee's can be applied to a future class. Contact ACT for additional class scheduling or assistance, if needed.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

Your instructor is a retired SLPD Tactical Team Leader (SWAT). Certified NRA and USCCA Instructor. Instructor has over 40 years of teaching and shooting experience.
