Executive Summary & Mission New Shooter Firearm Training (NSFT) provides a relaxed, inclusive, and highly structured learning environment for beginner and intermediate gun owners. Founded by Bill Glasgow—a professional adult educator and life-long learner with a background in firearms training, law enforcement and defensive martial arts—NSFT breaks down complex shooting concepts into safe accessible steps. The mission is to empower individuals, particularly women and new shooters, to build confidence, master safety fundamentals, and safely exercise their rights to legal personal defense.
Core Philosophy & Services Approach: Stress-free, non-intimidating, and focused on real-world fundamentals rather than tactical competition.
Service Area: Classroom sessions at local venues and live-fire training at local gun ranges in the Sarasota area. Partner Ranges: Total Impact Gun Range, Knight Trail Gun Range, and Shoot Straight Gun Range.
Credentials & Background
Certifications: USCCA Certified Concealed Carry Instructor NRA Certified Concealed Carry Instructor NRA Certified Pistol Instructor NRA Certified Range Safety Officer (RSO). Experience: Law enforcement experience combined with corporate project management and adult training expertise. Safety & Security: We are fully insured with active, multi-state CCW permits, certified in First Aid and "Stop the Bleed" emergency response.

This will be a private class for a single person or a couple wanting to learn together without general attendance with others. $125.00 per person if a couple so grab your spouse, friend, significant others all count as a couple, $150.00 single.
This is a 1 hour, one on one learning session with live fire shooting. This is for the student that needs to work on foundations of shooting, handling a new gun or fine tuning of shooting processes. A gun and ammunition can be provided for you to rent.
This is a relaxed, fun and safe environment for learning. This class consists of, class room presentations and live fire shooting at the gun range. A great way to get an introduction to firearms and shooting basics. A gun and ammunition can be provided for you to rent.
