What You'll Learn
Basic CCW Course – For Experienced Shooters Needing Qualification
This course is designed for individuals who are already familiar with pistol handling and firearm safety but need the required training to apply for a Florida Concealed Carry Permit.
The classroom portion is conducted one-on-one over Zoom, covering Florida CCW laws, use-of-force principles, and responsible carry practices. The range session is held at The Gun Shop in Leesburg, where students must demonstrate safe firearm handling and complete a live-fire qualification to earn their certificate.
Perfect for confident shooters who want a fast, effective path to CCW certification!
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund or we can reschedule to another date. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. This does not apply to free classes.
What We'll Teach
Self-Defense Firearms Basics
This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Upon completion of the Zoom Class and Qualification, student will be issued a course completion certificate.
