MAG-20 Live Fire is an intensive two-day, 20-hour immersion into the practical application of defensive handgun skills. Developed by internationally recognized firearms instructor, author, and expert witness Massad Ayoob, this course has trained thousands of armed citizens, law enforcement officers, military personnel, and firearms instructors throughout the United States.
This performance-based course focuses on developing the skills necessary to effectively deploy a defensive handgun under stress while emphasizing accuracy, accountability, and practical defensive application.
Students will receive extensive live-fire instruction and coaching in:
• Safe and efficient handgun handling • Drawing from concealment • Proper grip, stance, and presentation • Rapid sight acquisition and target engagement • Defensive marksmanship principles • Two-handed shooting techniques • Strong-hand-only and support-hand-only shooting • Shooting from cover and concealment • Emergency and speed reloads • Malfunction recognition and clearance • Close-range defensive shooting techniques • Defensive accuracy under time constraints • Multiple-shot engagement drills • Practical defensive handgun applications
Throughout the course, students will progressively develop their ability to deliver fast, accurate, and accountable hits while operating under increasing levels of time pressure and performance demands.
The course culminates with a challenging police-style qualification course designed to evaluate the student's ability to safely and effectively apply the skills learned during training.

Prerequisites:
• Basic firearm safety knowledge • Safe handgun handling skills • Reliable defensive handgun • Strong-side holster • Minimum three magazines or speed loaders
Equipment Requirements:
• Defensive handgun • Strong-side holster • Magazine pouches • Eye and ear protection • Appropriate range attire • 500 rounds of ammunition
Cancellation Policy: ADMISSIONS POLICY AND STUDENT REQUIREMENTS Applications for any NGInvestigations, Inc. must fulfill all necessary requirements, in addition to completing and signing this form and providing all requested supporting documentation (if required, see course requirements). This packet will include a confirmation letter, maps/directions, equipment list and local hotel information. COURSE TUITION CLASS TUITION IS REQUIRED TO BE PAID IN FULL AT TIME OF REGISTRATION. CANCELLATION POLICY Student Cancellation: Tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE. If student notifies NGI, Inc. at least 30 days prior to start date of class, the student may apply tuition towards a future course selection. A $60 course re-enrollment fee will apply. NGInvestigations, Inc. Special Training Unit - Cancellation: NGInvestigations, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any course at any time. Tuition will be reapplied to a future course or refund complete tuition within 15 days after cancellation upon student’s written request. NGInvestigations, Inc., their Instructors, Training Counselors or affiliates are not responsible for any expenses incurred by students due to cancellation.
