This course is designed to satisfy the State of Florida training requirement needed to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapon License (CWL/CCW).
⚠️ Important: This is primarily an online course. The classroom/training portion is completed online at your own pace through the USCCA eLearning platform.
However, Florida law still requires an in-person live-fire qualification. After completing the online training, you must contact me directly to schedule your required shooting qualification at the range.
A Florida-approved certificate cannot be issued until both portions are completed.
How the Course Works
✅ Step 1 — Complete the Online Training
The classroom portion of this course is completed entirely online through the USCCA eLearning platform.
This is not a live Zoom or virtual classroom session. The training is fully self-paced, meaning you can start, stop, and complete it whenever it fits your schedule. There is no deadline to finish the online portion.

✅ Step 2 — Contact Me to Schedule Your Live-Fire Qualification
Once you complete the online training, you will need to contact me directly to schedule your required in-person range session.
Florida law requires that I personally observe you safely handling and firing a handgun before issuing your certificate.
✅ Step 3 — Receive Your Florida Certificate
After successfully completing the live-fire qualification, you’ll receive your Florida-approved training certificate to submit with your Concealed Weapon License application.
Application assistance is available if needed.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Florida Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals
In this course you will learn about the main topics pertaining to the carrying of handguns in the state of Florida. The overall objective of this course is to educate students on the responsibilities and laws applicable to handgun license holders. Before attending the in-person class, you must complete the assigned eLearning accessible through your USCCA dashboard.
