What You'll Learn

Designed for everyday citizens with little to no formal firearms training, this course provides a comprehensive introduction to the safe operation and effective use of a pistol. No prior experience is required.

Whether you're new to firearms or looking to build a solid foundation, this course delivers essential knowledge and hands-on practice to help you handle firearms safely and shoot accurately.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Firearm Safety & Handling Best Practices
  • Safe Storage & Transportation of Firearms
  • Proper Loading and Unloading Techniques
  • Core Marksmanship Skills, including: - Stance - Grip - Sight Alignment - Trigger Control - Breath Control - Follow-Through & Follow-Up

Instruction includes classroom learning, hands-on dry-fire practice, and live-fire exercises on the range—designed to help you build competence and confidence with your firearm.

Required Gear: Eye Protection (available for rent) Ear Protection (available for rent) Pistol (available for rent) Ammunition 50 Rounds (available for purchase) Photo ID

All participants must have a range waiver on file prior to taking the class.
