Instructor Certification

Please acknowledge that this class requires participation to pass. Being present does not guarantee that you will leave with a USCCA Instructor Certificate. If you attend the course and do not receive certification, refunds will not be given. This course is a pass/fail course; there will be no options for remedial training after the fact. If you are not able to pass the class, your options will be to retake the entire class at a later date.

What You'll Learn

This is a 2 day class.

Cancellation Policy: Payment is non-refundable. If notice is given at least 24 hours in advance, class fee can be transferred to another class within 90 days one time only. Students that "no show", without contacting the instructor prior to class, will forfeit their class fee funds.

Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals - Certified Instructor

Upon successfully completing this course, you will become a USCCA Certified Instructor uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals.

This course has become the nation’s leading curriculum for law-abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. When it comes to firearms fundamentals and concealed carry and home defense concepts, you will provide your students with high-quality material and help them understand the ‘why’ behind training concepts.

Class Preparation: You must complete the corresponding online learning course. (Automatically sent to you upon registering for the class.)

Day 1: you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics including:

Top ten instructor mistakes and how to avoid them
Teaching best practices
Running a safe live fire range

Day 2: You’ll have a chance to:

Demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers
Run a live fire range, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire

By combining the knowledge of the USCCA and your passion for training more responsibly armed Americans, you can be assured that you’ve found the instructor certification for you.

"Wayne did an outstanding job with the presentation of the material. He was very patient with me, making sure that I completely understood a topic before moving on to further develop the fundamentals of the course. He was very professional in his delivery as well as precise in his explanations of key concepts. There was not a single time where he continued his presentation without making sure that I understood the previous core concepts. While I personally believed that I had prepared myself throughly for this course Wayne easily identified places where my understanding could be enhanced or at the very least, further developed. He is clearly a master of the material and he proved beyond any doubt his ability to present it in a way that took complete advantage of my particular style of learning. I am confident that had I presented any other style, even combinations of different learning styles, that Wayne would be as equally successful with me. I feel fortunate that I had the opportunity to go through this Instructor's level course with Wayne. If you ever get a chance to take a course from him, know going into it that you will not find a better instructor.
