What You'll Learn

This course will be personalized for 1 student who desires a smaller, more focused training environment. The course description, content and focus will be 100% at the request of the student. If the student is unsure of exactly what they want or need, the staff will assess your abilities and training needs to help you create a plan. Instruction will be provided by one of three CDS NRA/USCCA Instructors, Mike, Susie or Kyle, depending on the day and time.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

{You will bring and use your own gun and ammo. It will be inspected by the instructor to ensure that it is safe and serviceable. If you do not have your own gun and/or ammo, additional charges will apply for the rental/use of company equipment and consumables.}

"Today I had my second firearm lesson. Mike Parmigiani was my instructor. This time I tried a .22 & .380 firearm to compare the difference, and for me it was significant. It all sounds easy, but what you find out when you look at the target results is how your hand jerked, or flinched, or rotated, or closed your eyes etc, Mike was spot on in how to correct all my glitches. It still takes practice but the information and correction tips you get during session as well as print outs and videos to watch are extremely helpful. I appreciate all the experience and patience! "
