What You'll Learn
This course will be personalized for 1 student who desires a smaller, more focused training environment. This course is priced at $125/hour for 1 student, a 2 hour (total) session and is inclusive of all fees for firearms use, ammo consumption, hearing and eye protection.
If you would like to bring a second person to the experience there is an additional $100 fee, for a total of $350. Contact CDS prior to registering to discuss this and have a special course link created.
If the student(s) requires more or less time, please contact the instructor directly for pricing. Please call prior to registering if you wish to bring an additional person - we will create a special link for you and/or load your information manually.
Pursuant to policy effective 5/1/2024, Saturdays and Sundays are by appointment only and there will be a premium surcharge of at least $50. This number is TBD and will be based upon the experience you are booking. Additionally, based on your request, CDS may determine that it is appropriate to bring an assistant trainer, NRA Certified RSO, to ensure the safety of everyone in your group. They earn $40 per hour.
This is the perfect experience for those who do not yet own firearms and wish to try several makes, models, sizes, calibers, etc. We will interview you before the scheduled class to assess your needs and then we will bring several options to work with at the range and ammo to feed them.
The staff will assess your abilities and training needs to help you create a plan.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
