Florida Concealed Carry Course Overview

Get trained, get certified, and carry with confidence — the right way.

In this course, you’ll learn everything you need to know about carrying a handgun legally and responsibly in the state of Florida. We’ll cover essential topics like Florida firearm laws, safety, and your responsibilities as a concealed carry license holder.

How It Works: • Step 1: Complete an in-person firearms safety class that teaches laws associated with concealed carry and lawful use of force.. • Step 2: (Basic Firearms Handling) You’ll learn how to safely handle and operate a firearm on the range! You will learn to shoot. • Step 3: Earn your certificate and use it to apply for your Florida concealed weapons license.

There’s no need to bring anything. Just show up ready to learn!

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Self-Defense Firearms Basics

This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
