What You'll Learn
The CCDW firearms training course (depending on weather) may be conducted over a 2 day period - Day 1: Classroom & Dry Fire Training - Day 2: Live Fire Activities conducted at firing range.
Classroom time shall include the following elements: A. Instruction regarding knowledge and safe handling of firearms; B. Instruction regarding safe storage of firearms and child safety; C. Instruction regarding knowledge and safe handling of ammunition; D. Instruction regarding safe storage of ammunition and child safety; E. Instruction regarding safe firearms shooting fundamentals; F. Identification of ways to develop and maintain firearm shooting skills; G. Instruction regarding federal and state laws pertaining to the lawful purchase, ownership, transportation, use and possession of firearms; H. Instruction regarding the laws of this State pertaining to the use of deadly force for self-defense; and I. Instruction regarding techniques for avoiding a criminal attack and how to manage a violent confrontation, including conflict resolution.
Live Fire Training: J. Live fire shooting exercises conducted on a range, including the expenditure of a minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition;
Note that live fire exercises will be conducted at local firing range.
NOTE: UTAH PERMIT CERTIFICATION REQUIRES ALL OF THE ABOVE AND THE UTAH REQUIRED RULES, REGULATIONS, LAWS BE 100% REVIEWED AND TEST PASSED TO BE STAMPED. APPLICANT MUST POSESS PERMIT IN STATE OF RESIDENCE PRIOR TO APPLICATION

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 72 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund, minus $25.00 registration fee. Classes cancelled less than 72 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals with Simulations
This real-world self-defense scenario training is designed to improve your mindset and skills, regardless of experience level or background, in a safe and controlled environment. You can practice making split-second decisions, which will help you to understand the legal use of force. This is one of the most practical and effective ways to recognize when — or if — the use of deadly force is justified. Test your knowledge and learn from realistic situations that you could encounter in your daily life. Simulation training scenarios activate students’ mental and physical responses to mimic real self-defense scenarios, giving you a deeper understanding of how you’ll react under pressure.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Total class fee is $150.00 plus range fees. Range fee: $10.00 - Cash only - paid at range. There is a Non-Refundable $25.00 registration fee. The Registration fee will be deducted from class fee. The Remaining class fee of $125.00 will be due at time of training.
