Firearm Rentals Available
These classes are in an open-discussion format and are a lot of fun. Inexperienced to experienced are all welcome. We will go over safe handling, firearm fundamentals, how to select the proper handgun, situational awareness, legal use of force, violent encounters and the aftermath as well as state specific laws.
In this course we will cover the necessary state required training.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 72 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 72 hours before the class can be rescheduled, but no refund will be given.

Over 1 million students have taken the U.S. Concealed Carry Association’s course offerings across the nation. Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Class will be held in Middletown, Delaware. We will confirm the class location 5 business days prior to the class. The location of the range will be confirmed and announced in class. You do not need to own a firearm to attend this class. If you are still looking at purchasing and or do not know what firearm is best for you, we will assist you in finding a suitable firearm for you. Also, please note that November through March classes the range portion may be done on the next day due to the lack of daylight. We will do our best to complete everything in one day and we will notify you in advance if you need to come back to wrap up the range portion of things. Also, you will also have the option to add DE (if resident), FL, NJ, VA, and/or UT which will be discussed in class if you haven't already added them. This two day class addresses all State of Maryland required topics to complete your application for a Concealed Carry Deadly Weapons (CCDW)/Wear & Carry Permit. If you cannot commit to both days due to scheduling we will allow you to do day two within 60 days of the day one class. Please note that will delay the application process however we will work with you to accommodate schedules. In addition to State requirements, we discuss firearm basics and safety, safe shooting fundamentals, conflict resolution, situational awareness and safe storage of ammunition, firearms in your home and much more. Range Location - TBD - range is typically 5 - 20 minutes away depending on class location. VERY IMPORTANT - Day 2 - do not wear sweatpants, gym shorts or pajama like pants to class. There will be some holster draw practice (in class only) therefore please dress accordingly. There will be NO holster utilization on the range. What to bring for the range portion; Please bring the following rounds with you depending on what state/s you are doing; MD ONLY - 50 rounds. MD only requires 25 rounds however if by chance there are any issues, please bring 50 rounds. MD, DE, NJ, FL, VA & UT- 100 rounds Range details and items checklist - this is an outdoor range therefore please dress accordingly; NO V-necks or low cut shirts NO open-toed shoes Ear protection (electronic ear protection recommended but not necessary). We have electronic ear protection for sale if you prefer to purchase directly from us - $40. Or you can rent both eye and ear protection for $20 (electronic ear protection) Eye protection (safety style glasses). If you have prescription glasses, those will be sufficient Baseball style hat/hat with a brim (VERY important) Firearm - if you need to rent one, please reach out to us directly well in advance of class. Ammunition (quantities mentioned above) - if you need ammunition, please reach out to us directly well in advance and ammo sold is only for the range qualification portion. Extra magazine VERY IMPORTANT - if you have a Kydex (plastic) inside or outside of the waistband holster for your firearm that you will be using on the range, please bring it. Please note that it is NOT necessary that you have a holster for the class. Safety is our highest priority on the range. We will be taking our time, being very thorough and making sure everyone understands safe handling of a firearm before moving onto the range qualification of things. We are like "helicopter parents" on the range and we are there to assist throughout. If you have any concerns whatsoever, please feel free to reach out to us. Refund Policy - Fully refundable if you need to cancel up to 72 hours prior to the initial class. No refund is available within 72 hours of the initial class.
