- BRING YOUR FIREARM -Safe handling and maintenance of a handgun. -Transporting and storing handguns. -Avoiding the use of deadly force and knowing when it is warranted. -Understanding state-specific laws and regulations regarding concealed carry. -General marksmanship and shooting skills. -Selecting the right gun and ammo. -Using essential gear for concealed carry.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will be refunded 50 percent of the payment.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
If joining class 48 hours prior to the scheduled class expect to receive your certificate the following week due to the notary procedure. - Class portion and range day make sure that you are ready for the range, you will need 100 rounds for the Delaware qualification. -Make sure to bring PPE if you do forget I will have extra. -We will go over everything to expect for the range portion. - The range day will be at Alex Acres Rifles and pistol located at 13501 Alexander Road Galena, Maryland 21635. I will have you complete the waiver during day 1 of the class.
