- BRING YOUR FIREARM -Safe handling and maintenance of a handgun. -Transporting and storing handguns. -Avoiding the use of deadly force and knowing when it is warranted. -Understanding state-specific laws and regulations regarding concealed carry. -General marksmanship and shooting skills. -Selecting the right gun and ammo. -Using essential gear for concealed carry.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will be refunded 50 percent of the payment.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
* If joining class 48 hours prior to the scheduled class expect to receive your certificate the following week due to the notary procedure. - BRING YOUR FIREARM - Make sure that you are ready for the range, you will need 100 rounds for the Delaware qualification. -Make sure to bring PPE if you do forget I will have extra. -We will go over everything to expect for the range portion. - The range day will be at Alex Acres Rifles and pistol located at 13501 Alexander Road Galena, Maryland 21635. I will have you complete the waiver during day 1 of the class.
