What You'll Learn
Any AR platform can be used for this class ... .22 cal , 9mm, or typical calibers223/556 , 300blkout
DETAILS: Students will learn firearm safety, zeroing-in sights, defensive rifle skills, clearing malfunctions, mindset, different ready positions, carry modes (single-point/double-point slings, basic defensive rifle skills. EXPERIENCE LEVEL: basic/beginner/intermediate REQUIRED MATERIALS: Rifle, sturdy sling, 3 magazines, magazine carriers, 200 rounds of ammunition (no rim-fired cartridges), personal protective gear. Any student who does not have a rifle or gear, can rent ours for a fee. COURSE PREREQUISITES: Must have a valid permit/license to carry.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 72 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 72 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
AR-15 Shooting Basics
Instructor-led range time including safety essentials, confirmation of zero, and use/operation of an AR-15; students will work on drills that incorporate dry-fire and live fire with kinesthetic alignment, mechanical offset (and the application of hold over), along with the balance of speed and precision shooting.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
NOTE: This course costs $175 (originally $200). There is a $5 deposit to reserve your spot and the remaining $170 is due the day of the course. The deposit is non-refundable, but it is transferable if canceled by 7-days of the class date, no exceptions.
