What You'll Learn

This is the class you will want to take to obtain your Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers in CT (Pistol Permit) as well as the CT Long Gun Eligibility Certificate (Long Gun Permit). The class is the same for both permits, however, the pistol permit provides you with more flexibility on purchases down the road.

This is a one day class and includes the classroom AND shooting portion. We will discuss safety and range etiquette. We will go over all your paperwork and provide notary services at no extra charge. We provide the firearms, ammunition and free safety glasses and hearing protection you get to keep. We offer an EGO free environment and smaller classes. The course is intended for all adults regardless of previous shooting experience. We have training thousands of new shooters and experienced alike.

More Details: Some of the topics in the course include: gun safety rules, proper operation semi-automatic pistols / rifles, ammunition knowledge and selection, selecting and storing a pistol / rifle, the fundamentals of shooting, and pistol / rifle inspection and maintenance. During the the course, one of our Certified Instructors will provide you with comprehensive training on gun safety rules; range protocol; proper handling; loading and unloading procedures; application of pistol / rifle shooting fundamentals; stable shooting positions; live fire; and a final shooting qualification.
