What You'll Learn
This is an awesome class for Women who are wanting to learn the Basics of Firearms. There is a 2 hour live fire portion immediately following the classroom portion. This class does meet the qualifications to receive your Colorado CCW permit. There will be a written test after the classroom portion.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds will not be given for cancellations, however, you can move your fee to another scheduled class time and you can transfer your class to another student and work out the payment with them.
What We'll Teach
Women's Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals
With three distinct modules, this course is designed for those who are brand new to firearms and those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting.
Basics and fundamentals will be introduced, reviewed, and then built upon, while also exploring:
- Situational awareness
- Common types of handguns
- Ammunition types, malfunctions
- Firearms handling skills
- Defensive pistol fundamentals
- The use of deadly force
Whether you’ve never touched a firearm, you’re looking for the next steps in your training, or you’ve chosen to learn about the skills, tools, and mindset needed to use firearms for self-defense, you can be prepared to carry confidently every day with tips and techniques from experienced women in the world of firearms.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Live Fire portion is held immediately following the classroom portion using .22 firearms and ammunition I will provide these firearms and ammunition for the first live fire session or you can use your own .22 and ammo. You are required to shoot 50 rounds to qualify for your Colorado Concealed Carry Permit.
