What You'll Learn

This is a comprehensive NRA Certified introductory course, designed for the new handgun owner or for anyone interested in practicing the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship. This is an engaging, low-stress, hands-on class. You will learn:

*Handgun safety rules *Proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols *Ammunition knowledge and selection *Pistol selection and storage *Shooting fundamentals *Pistol inspection and maintenance *Marksmanship and shooting range safety

Students will receive the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
