His passion for firearms began over four decades ago, sparking a career defined by excellence in both military and civilian sectors. Steve served 17+ years in the United States military, where he honed his leadership skills, tactical expertise, and marksmanship under demanding conditions. Following his military service, he transitioned into law enforcement, contributing another 10 years of dedicated service protecting his community. Throughout his combined 27 years in uniform, Steve consistently demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to public safety. Recognized as a leading authority in firearms education, Steve is a certified instructor in multiple disciplines for the NRA and USCCA. In addition, Steve is a California Concealed Carry Weapons DOJ Certified Instructor. He brings more than 30 years of hands-on firearms experience and training to his students, blending real-world operational knowledge with proven instructional techniques. His teaching style emphasizes safety, accuracy, situational awareness, and confidence-building for shooters of all experience levels—from complete beginners to seasoned professionals.
