What You'll Learn

This 16-hour Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) course is a two-day certification program, consisting of two 8-hour sessions held consecutively in San Diego, California. It meets California’s training requirements for obtaining a CCW permit. The course combines classroom instruction with live-fire range time, covering essential topics such as firearm safety, marksmanship fundamentals, legal responsibilities, and situational awareness. By the end of the training, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to carry a concealed firearm confidently and responsibly.

Cancellation Policy: Students must cancel at least 48 hours before a class date to receive a full refund. Classes canceled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

Additional Notes from Your Instructor

For safety reasons, firearms, ammunition, and other deadly weapons are not permitted during the classroom portion of the training course. This course applies to the initial CCW application course for San Diego only.
