What You'll Learn

This course satisfies the bi-annual re-qualification requirement for the California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit. Participants will complete mandatory classroom instruction and live-fire qualification to maintain their permit in good standing. You'll review legal updates, firearm safety protocols, and marksmanship fundamentals to ensure ongoing readiness and regulatory compliance.

Includes a 2-hour refresher, requalification, and two qualification calibers.

Cancellation Policy: Students must cancel at least 48 hours before a class date to receive a full refund. Classes canceled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

What We'll Teach

Legal Use of Force

In this lesson, Michael Martin will cover important legal topics, including the laws governing the legal use of force inside and outside the home. Within this lesson, you’ll get a chance to test what you’ve learned, using several real world scenarios with you as the actor.

Additional Notes from Your Instructor

Reminder: Renewal must be completed annually before your permit expiration date. There are no grace periods and you will be required to fully re-apply once your permit expires.
