What You'll Learn
This course fulfills the training requirements for the California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit and includes classroom instruction, written exam, application assistance, range fees, and up to two calibers. Students will learn firearm safety, legal use of force, moral and ethical responsibilities, and range proficiency under the supervision of a certified instructor.
This course is tailored for Licensed Security Officers, Private Investigators, and Executive Protection Agents looking to test and qualify for their BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit. The course fee covers range time, targets, eye protection, and up to two caliber qualifications.
Cancellation Policy: Students must cancel at least 48 hours before a class date to receive a full refund. Classes canceled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Legal Use of Force
In this lesson, Michael Martin will cover important legal topics, including the laws governing the legal use of force inside and outside the home. Within this lesson, you’ll get a chance to test what you’ve learned, using several real world scenarios with you as the actor.
