"I recently had to retake the full 2-day CCW class at Pala Range after missing my expiration date, but it was a highly enjoyable experience. The instructor, Jason, made the repeat feel fresh and engaging, turning what could have been tedious into something worthwhile. Day one was classroom-based in a comfortable, air-conditioned space with clean bathrooms. Jason covered key topics like firearm safety and legal aspects using PowerPoint slides, charts, images, and interesting videos to keep it dynamic. Day two moved to the range with fixed targets at 3, 5, and 7 yards—straightforward yet elevated by Jason's fun defensive exercises, some new to me. The only suggestion: add name tags to ease conversations. Unlike high-stress classes at Front Sight, this was pretty low-key, effective, and very interesting—5 stars!"
