What You'll Learn
This course is specifically for the new user of the shotgun. Defensive Shotgun 1 provides students with the understanding of how the shotgun works, the variety of ammunition, patterning and skills necessary to safely handle, load, fire and unload a pump-action or semi-automatic shotgun. You will learn skills such as speed loads, tac loads, clearing malfunctions, continuity of fire, multiple target engagements and care and maintenance of your shotgun. You will be instructed on shotgun manipulation and range drills to increase your comfort level and develop a solid foundation with the defensive shotgun.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 72 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 72 hours before the class will not be refunded.
