Our online CCW course allows you to: Start the course at your convenience, Pause at any time, Resume exactly where you left off, and Complete the training on your schedule
Your progress is automatically saved, allowing you to move through the material at a pace that fits your professional and personal commitments. This flexible format is ideal for working professionals, parents, and individuals with demanding schedules.
Upon successful completion of the online academic portion, students must complete a live-fire shooting qualification to finalize certification.

Course Overview The Millennia Defense Initial 16-Hour CCW Certification Course is designed to meet and exceed the requirements set forth by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and the State of California for applicants seeking a Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Permit.
Effective January 1, 2024, California law requires a 16-hour training course for initial CCW applicants. This comprehensive program fulfills and exceeds those state and county mandates while delivering practical, real-world instruction rooted in responsibility, safety, and lawful concealed carry.
Course Breakdown Duration: 16 Hours (Online Instruction + Range Time)
Format: Online Course + In-Person Shooting Qualification
Maximum Firearms Allowed on CCW: 6
Students must demonstrate the ability to safely and effectively draw from concealment, engage targets from multiple distances, and achieve a minimum passing score of 80%. Safe firearm handling and manipulation will be assessed throughout the qualification.
