What You'll Learn
Meets the State Mandated 16 hour Initial and 8 Hour renewal for CCW for Sacramento, Yolo, and Placer county. Ensure your jurisdiction and eligibility before scheduling. You should have already started your application with the county sheriff and have had your initial interview in most cases, before taking this course.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

If the range portion is outdoors, we will do it regardless of weather (rain, etc) Prepare and dress accordingly. Important Note on Safety & Instruction: For the safety of every student and the integrity of the training, our instructors reserve the right to make all final determinations regarding safe firearm handling, range procedures, and successful course completion. This includes coaching on your shooting stance, grip, reloads, and adherence to time limits.
