What You'll Learn
The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA, workplace or other regulatory requirements. This class meets the CPR requirement for the California Teaching Credential.
Class Format Blended Learning Up to 3 hrs online + Up to 2 hrs in-class session
Certification Issued 2 year American Red Cross certificate
For both initial certifications and renewals. In order to increase skills participation and comprehension, skills practice is reduced to a 2:1 student to manikin ratio and sterile, single use, sterile practice lung inserts are used to enhance feedback during skills practice.
Mindful that this will be on the 4th of July, while open for all this class date is primarily scheduled for students up against the wall time-wise for mandatory/work-related recertification. Class will only be from 8:00 - 12:00, leaving plenty of time to get back to celebrate the holiday with family and friends.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
