What You'll Learn
This comprehensive 8-hour course includes classroom instruction and live-fire range training at an indoor shooting range. Students will learn the fundamentals of safe handgun handling, firearm operation, shooting fundamentals, and responsible firearm ownership in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Each student will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, complete the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and earn an NRA Course Completion Certificate upon successful completion.
This course also serves as the prerequisite for the NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) and NRA Pistol Instructor courses.
Please note: Range fees and ammunition are not included in the course fee.
A non-refundable payment in full is required to secure your registration. Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive an email with everything you need to know to prepare for class.
Cancellation Policy: All of our classes/packages and courses are final; no cancellations are allowed, and no refunds are issued once enrolled in any course(s), class(es), or any of our training programs. If you miss your scheduled class, you can reschedule for another available class once for free. You must provide 48 hours' notice to receive a free credit. Additional rescheduling will incur a $25 administrative fee.
