What You'll Learn
In this course, you will get a comprehensive look at what it takes to be your own first responder when medical attention is not around.
Here you will learn:
- Proper Tourniquet application.
- Wound Packing
- Different Wound Dressings and their indications
- Identify arterial bleeds vs venous.
- Assess for chest injuries
- Use of chest seals
And, of course, a little anatomy and physiology to understand how everything works together
Upon Completion, you will receive your STOP THE BLEED certificate and USCCA's Control the Bleed certificate
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Save a Life: Control the Bleed
Participants will learn how to control severe arterial bleeding using commercial tourniquets or improvised methods, apply compression bandages, pack wounds, and treat chest injuries.
