My Biography

Founded by Joshua Donecker, LTC, U.S. Army, 144 Defense was created to bridge the gap between impersonal firearms qualification courses and meaningful, confidence-building instruction. With over 27 years of military leadership experience, including service as a military police officer, drill sergeant, emergency services leader, Special Reaction Team-trained operator, and professional instructor, Joshua brings a unique combination of operational expertise, teaching experience, and mentorship-focused leadership to civilian firearms education.
