Women’s Basic Pistol is a course designed to build your foundation in becoming a responsibly armed female.
This course will teach you the essentials: • Understanding Firearms Guns are all different, yet they are very much alike • The Four Universal Safety Rules • Shooting Fundamentals Stance Grip Sight Alignment Sight picture Trigger Control Breath Control and Follow Through • Put Everything into Practice Shooting Fundamentals Shooting Live-Fire (There is no live ammunition in the classroom) Women’s Basic Pistol is all about sharing the basics along with the fun, the seriousness and importance of being a responsibly armed female.

The classroom portion will be held at our office location, which we will provide the address, and range time will be held at United Sportsmen In., in Concord.

The total is 4 to 6 hours depending on the number of students. We are giving a large window of time between classroom and range to answer additional question, eat lunch and travel time to the range.

Prerequisite: Women's Basic Pistol or Equivalent Course.

Women’s Intermediate Pistol is a course designed to build upon your foundation. This course will dig a little deeper into topics you should know from Women’s Basic Pistol Training.
We will take a closer look at types of firearms and ammunition as well as learn about how firearms work, and cover tips and tactics for selecting handguns and holsters. While Women’s Intermediate Pistol is not a defensive pistol class, you will be introduced to the right mindset for self-defense. And though this is not a marksmanship class, the drills we use will challenge your skills with the goal of bringing you up to the next level. All the topics, discussions and exercises will help you better understand firearms and safe shooting so you can be more comfortable and confident with your training. There will be more range time in the intermediate class then in the basic class.

Prerequisite: Women's Basic and Intermediate Pistol or equivalent Course.

In this class you will build upon the foundation you learned in your basic and intermediate class. You will learn the who, what, why, where of Mindset Avoiding, Escaping, Defending, Use of Force Being Responsibly Armed Cover verses Concealment Voice Commands Marksmanship Verses Defensive Shooting Drawing Techniques Loading and Reloading Practice With Purpose

8th Annual National Train a Teacher Day ++This event is for teachers, school admin and staff. We vet students that want to attend to confirm they work for a school.++

In this introduction module, students are introduced to the basics of handgun safety, including how to safely clear (unload) a semi-automatic pistol. We go on to explain and demonstrate the seven basic fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting. The lesson is rounded out by taking those basics, and putting them into practice both in the classroom and on the shooting range. This lesson will act as a building block as the student progresses to Intermediate Pistol.

We will take you through how to: disassembly your firearm clean it and some of the things needed lubrication and finally reassemble

This is a PSO course of fire. Security and PSOs can train and practice the course of fire. The concepts of Defensive Shooting Fundamentals will be in practice.

In this lesson, we will learn the significance of using good situational awareness skills and will be provided with several tools and processes that will help you be more aware and alert and make good decisions.
