What You'll Learn
This 2-hour range class focuses on building strong pistol marksmanship fundamentals to improve accuracy, consistency, and confidence. Students will receive hands-on instruction in grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and recoil management through a combination of coaching and live-fire drills. Emphasis is placed on understanding shot placement, diagnosing common errors, and making practical corrections to shoot more effectively and safely. Topics Covered: Firearm safety and range procedures Grip, stance, and body alignment Sight alignment and sight picture Trigger control and recoil management Shot diagnostics and accuracy improvement Prerequisites: None. All skill levels welcome.
Cancellation Policy: All class registrations are final. Refunds are only considered for verified emergencies, such as medical emergencies, hospitalization, or death in the family. Documentation may be requested. For non-emergency situations, students may receive a one-time class credit toward a future class if they notify HDG at least 48 hours in advance. Credits must be used within 90 days and are generally non-transferable. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, or failure to attend, result in forfeiture of the class fee unless it qualifies as a verified emergency. If HDG cancels a class, students will receive either a free transfer to the next class or a full refund. By registering, students agree to these terms.
