Dedicated firearms instructor and safety advocate focused on empowering everyday citizens. I specialize in teaching defensive shooting fundamentals, concealed carry mechanics, and situational awareness. My mission is to build my students' confidence, sharpen their skills, and ensure they can responsibly protect themselves and their loved ones.

The State of California requires that all firearm purchasers have a California Firearm Safety Certificate. A Firearm Safety Certificate is acquired by taking and passing a written test, generally at participating firearms dealers and private firearms training facilities.
The test covers firearm safety and the basic firearms laws and requires a 75% score on a 30 question exam. To help individuals prepare for the test, a Firearm Safety Certificate Study Guide is available. https://oag.ca.gov/sites/all/files/agweb/pdfs/firearms/forms/hscsg.pdf
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must present clear evidence of identity and age by presenting a California Driver’s License or California Department of Motor Vehicles Identification Card.
The firearm safety demonstration protocols and DOJ Certified Instructor standards have been established and implemented by DOJ. An explanation of the firearm safety demonstration can be found starting on page 12 of the Firearm Safety Certificate Study Guide.
Once you have passed the CA FSC test you receive the Certification Card that is good for 5 years to purchase a firearm in California
This 2 Day CA CCW Permit Course consists of both discipline specific safe firearm training and live-fire range instruction. Students must demonstrate drawing from strong side holster and safe firearm handling skills via practical exercises during the course and must pass a written certification examination. Additionally, the student must pass the CCW Level shooting qualification Course of Fire with a minimum 80%. This course will focus on developing the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for students to carry and using a concealed pistol ethically, responsibly, and with confidence.

This course meets all state and local requirements for your 8-hour CCW renewal class. This thorough class covers a wide variety of topics to include Concealed Carry, Home Defense, and the California State laws of where you can carry concealed with your CCW.
