This two-day course will cover everything California requires for your CCW permit: firearms safety fundamentals, state and federal gun laws, use of force principles, conflict avoidance, and when you can—and can't—legally use your firearm in self-defense. We'll discuss the legal aftermath of defensive encounters, de-escalation strategies, and the enormous responsibility that comes with carrying concealed. You'll also learn practical skills including drawing from concealment, accurate shooting under pressure, stoppages, reloads, and making quick decisions in dynamic situations.
This course combines classroom instruction with live fire training. You'll spend quality time on the range evaluating your skills, practicing from various positions and distances, and shooting the qualification course required by Riverside County. We’ll work with you individually to ensure you're confident and competent before you leave.
Time to renew your California concealed carry permit? This renewal course refreshes your skills and updates you on current laws to keep your CCW valid. Designed specifically for permit holders who've already completed initial certification.
We'll review critical updates to California firearms laws, use of force standards, and any recent legal changes affecting CCW holders. You'll refresh your knowledge of when deadly force is justified, conflict avoidance strategies, and the legal responsibilities of carrying concealed. This is also your chance to ask questions about real-world scenarios you've encountered while carrying and get expert guidance on situations that weren't covered in your original training.
Ready to build confidence with your handgun? This beginner-friendly course teaches you everything you need to know to safely and accurately operate a pistol. Whether you just bought your first firearm or have been shooting casually without formal training, this class gives you a solid foundation to become a safe, skilled shooter.
You'll start with the essentials: universal safety rules, how your pistol works, and basic range etiquette. Then we'll dive into the fundamentals that make all the difference—proper grip, stance, sight picture, trigger control, and how to manage recoil. We'll also cover real-world skills like drawing from your holster, reloading smoothly, fixing common stoppages, and shooting from different positions.
This isn't just a lecture—you'll get plenty of hands-on practice. We combine classroom learning with dry fire drills and live range time so you can actually apply what you're learning and leave feeling comfortable with your firearm.
Tactical Medicine & Basic Life Support gives you a core medical and Basic Life Support foundation that real‑world medicine depends on. It emphasizes rapid scene and casualty assessment, management of massive bleeding, airway and breathing problems, and major trauma from violence (including gunshots, stabbings, and blunt force) or serious accidents. You’ll learn how to recognize injuries quickly, perform CPR and use an AED, place patients in safe positions, apply critical trauma skills like direct pressure, wound packing, tourniquet use, chest seals, and basic splinting.
By building these skills, you become the first responder for your family and your community—the person who can stay calm, take charge, and start life‑saving care in those first critical minutes before EMS arrives. This training helps turn bystanders into protectors, making your home, workplace, and neighborhood safer every day.
