This class will meet the qualifications for the student to apply for a CCW in San Luis Obispo County California.
This course meets the California D.O.J. requirement as stated in Senate bill 2 (SB2).
Attending this course does not guarantee passing the live fire portion, written test or the issuance of a CCW permit.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
You must shoot and qualify with each weapon you want to put on your CCW permit. You must have a holster for each weapon you want to put on your CCW permit. For safety reasons our range will not allow shoulder holsters, pocket holsters, fanny packs or purse holsters on the range.
