What You'll Learn
This introductory firearms course is designed for beginners to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment for those who are new to firearms or looking to build a stronger foundation. We’ll cover essential topics, including firearm safety, basic operation, terminology, and range readiness, without assuming any prior knowledge. The goal of this course is to demystify firearms and remove the intimidation that often surrounds them. This is not about perfection or expertise; it’s about understanding, confidence, and informed decision-making. Students will leave with a clear grasp of the fundamentals and a solid starting point for continued training.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Self-Defense Firearms Basics
This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
