Are you interested in learning the basics? This course is designed for the absolute beginner. We strongly recommend this course before you buy your first gun. But, maybe you have already bought a gun but still unsure what to do. We are here to help you without intimidation. We want you to feel safe and educated. After this course you will have the basics to get started. There is no live fire for this. Everything is done on a simulator so you can learn in a safe and fun environment. At the completion of this class you can take the Firearms Safety Certification exam and earn your certification with the confidence to choose and operate a firearm of your own, safely and effectively.

Classroom instruction is paired with Milo Simulator where the student can exercise learned concepts in a safe environment. This course is an excellent precursor to Basic Pistol.

This class presents an opportunity to experience different scenarios that an armed citizen may encounter and through the use of advanced simulation technology the student can assess their knowledge, skills, and abilities with regards to carrying a firearm in public. This course requires drawing from concealment and making critical decisions on the use of force continuum.

NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home (PPITH) is offered to applicants that have certified as NRA Basic Pistol or have a valid unexpired CCW permit.
