What You'll Learn
Alpha Culture LLC is certified by the Riverside County Sheriff's and Los Angeles County and SanDiego County Sheriff's departments CCW units to instruct applicants who apply for California CCW permits. This course meets the requirements under California Penal Code section 26165
Our goal in this course is to provide all of our students with safe gun handling, trigger management, marksmanship, less-lethal solutions, real life scenarios, live fire drills, and understanding of penal codes as they apply to use of force.
Applicants requesting approval for an Initial California CCW Permit from the Riverside,Los Angeles and SanDiego County Sheriff’s Office must complete the full day course and pass the Initial Shooting Qualification for all firearms on their CCW. Students may have a maximum of six firearms listed on their CCW For Riverside Country and three for LA, SanDiego Counties
THIS COURSE IS REQUIRED IN ADDITION TO YOUR APPLICATION WITH THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT. YOU MUST STILL COMPLETE THE APPLICATION PROCESS BEFORE OR AFTER COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE.
Classroom Requirements: Bring Firearm(s) that you intend on qualifying with. (Unloaded firearms) (No live ammunition in classroom) Note pads for those note takers. !!!PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE TO CLASS WITH A LOADED AND/OR CONCEALED WEAPON!!!
!!!DOUBLE-CHECK THAT YOUR FIREARMS ARE UNLOADED PRIOR TO ARRIVING AND CHECK THEM IN AT REGISTRATION!!!
Mandatory Range requirements: Range fee $25 Handguns to be added to CCW (MAXIMUM OF 6) - There will be a $5 charge for each gun after the first 2. Modifications are not recommended - Red-dot optics are OK Ammunition: 50 rounds minimum for live fire drills and 18 rounds minimum per handgun for qualifications (no steel cased) Holster - Outside or Inside the waistband NO ankle holsters, shoulder holsters, serpa holsters, or pocket holsters Gun Belt - Leather or Nylon 2 Magazines (minimum) Appropriate Range Attire Eye and Ear Protection
Qualification consists of: Firing at distances of yards, that your county requires. Minimum passing score is 70% of rounds fired at each distance must have scored within the 7-ring of the B-27 target. The same scoring and number of rounds fired will be for all additional firearm qualifications.
Upon successful completion of the Shooting Qualification Test, students will be issued a qualification form.
