What You'll Learn
The California Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Permit Course - Initial is designed to fulfill the requirements mandated by your County Sheriff's Department (Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, Los Angeles County) as well as State of California Department of Justice for applicants wishing to get their initial License to Carry Concealed Pistol, Revolver, or Other Firearm Within the State of California. It provides provide comprehensive training on firearm safety, laws, and regulations specific to California for individuals seeking to obtain their CCW permit. This course covers topics such as firearm handling, marksmanship, legal responsibilities, and situational awareness to ensure students are prepared to safely and responsibly carry a concealed weapon in the state of California.
Successful completion and passing of the live-fire element will earn you the Concealed Carry Training Certificate of Completion, which you will then submit to your County's Sheriff's Department to fulfill the training requirements to get your initial permit.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds available once signed up. Students are required to cancel at least 7 days in advance of a class date in order to receive credit towards rescheduling or booking a different class. Rescheduled class must be within 60 days of the initial class, otherwise credits are forfeited. Classes cancelled less than 7 days before the class will not be eligible for credit or to reschedule. We have a no refund policy once you have signed up for a class. If classes are canceled by A2 Defense for ANY reason, you will receive a full refund to your original method of payment. If classes are rescheduled, and you cannot accommodate the new schedule at the time of rescheduling, you will receive a full refund. NOTE: Students are required to provide accurate contact information. We contact each student prior to class to ensure they meet the minimum requirements to participate in class. Failure to provide accurate contact information, or failure to respond to our contact attempts will result in not being able to participate in classes, and forfeiture of the class tuition.
What We'll Teach
Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
This lesson will continue with the basics, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack.
