What You'll Learn
559CCW provides California SB2-compliant Concealed Carry Permit training for residents of Fresno, Madera, Merced, Tulare, and Kings County. Initial and Renewal courses are available.
Class begins at 9:00 AM at 1620 Church Ave., Sanger, CA 93657. This is a classroom instruction day only. There will be no live-fire qualification on this day.
You do not need to own a firearm to attend. No firearms or ammunition are permitted in the classroom. Please leave them secured at home.
This course covers California concealed carry laws, use-of-force standards, prohibited locations under SB2, civil and criminal liability, safe storage requirements, situational awareness, conflict avoidance, and the responsibilities that come with carrying a firearm in public. Students will also review firearm safety principles and defensive mindset fundamentals required by state law.
The Initial course is 16 hours total, including 8 hours in person and 8 hours of online self-paced coursework. The Renewal course is 8 hours and includes updated legal instruction and safety review. The final exam is multiple choice and serves as a knowledge review of the course material.
Live-fire qualification is scheduled separately after classroom requirements are completed. You may qualify with up to 6 legally registered firearms. Bring 50 rounds for up to 3 firearms (100 rounds if qualifying with 4–6), plus eye and ear protection. Steel core, steel jacketed, or bi-metal ammunition is not allowed at Fresno Rifle & Pistol Club.
Certificates are issued after completing classroom and live-fire requirements.
No refunds due to class costs. Transfers are allowed within one year
Cancellation Policy: Due to cost of class, there are no refunds. Please be sure of your purchase when you sign up. I can transfer you to a future class within a year.
