The license certification process provides enhanced education and understanding of self-defense laws for the firearm owner, making purchasing firearms easier and giving the handgun owner more self-confidence and peace of mind. About the 5150 HEAT, LLC – Firearms Training Academy Course of Instruction: This CCW course is for CCW RENEWAL California Concealed Weapons License candidates. Our California CCW License course is certified by the OCSD (Orange County Sheriff’s Department) and required by the State of California to carry any concealed handgun. SB-2 compliant.
