What You'll Learn
Self-Defense / CCW Revolver – Range / live fire class
Self-Defense & CCW Revolver Course will take place at Tom George Range of the Angeles Shooting Ranges, 12651 North Little Tujunga Canyon Road, Lake View Terrace, CA 91342
During this class you will learn and reinforce the Revolver fundamentals, marksmanship, and combat manipulations under controlled stress in order for you to survive and prevail in defense of life situations that are tense, uncertain, and rapidly evolving.
The Class is open to all level Defensive Shooting enthusiasts, Security Professionals, and CCW Permit Holders who would like to practice, gain knowledge and learn new skills as well as challenge their abilities.
If you don’t own a revolver, no worries, a limited number of 5-shot revolvers will be available for rent at the range.
The class size is limited to 6 students in order to maintain safety and quality.
NOTE: If you are an absolute beginner, this class is not for you. This class is an intermediate to advanced handgun skills class that is a refresher and a building block to your previously attended classes and range training sessions. Call or email if you are not sure and/or have questions.
During this class you will review, practice and learn: 1. Firearms Safety Rules (review) 2. Legal Use of Force and Tactical Considerations (review) 3. Revolver maintenance / Fundamentals / Marksmanship, & Fire Control 4. Revolver Manipulations (Various Speed Reload Methods) / Revolver Transitions & Single Hand Shooting (Strong hand & Support hand). 5. Use of Cover & Combat Manipulations (Emergency Reloads & Tactics) 6. Basic Drills with Multiple Threat engagement and The Use of Cover / Moving for Cover. 7. Various Revolver Qualification Courses of Fire.

You will need: • A revolver or two, the one/s you intend to use for self-defense, CCW and use regularly, and 2-3 speed loaders or strip loaders or moon clips (whichever setup you have). • If you have it, bring your secondary / backup handgun in case the first one becomes inoperable during the class for whatever reason. • If you don’t own a revolver, a limited number of 5-shot revolvers will be available for rent at the range (extra $25). Please notify before the course if you are going to need a revolver for the course. • Belt and Holster/s (Exposed carry, IWB, OWB, Pocket, deep concealment, etc) (test your gear) • If you don’t have a CCW, you will need an Exposed Carry or your home defense or duty setup (belt, holster and loader holders). (If you don’t have the belt & holster set-up, a limited number of the gear will be provided.) • 300 rounds of revolver ammunition. • Your revolver caliber specific snap-caps / inert dummy rounds (we will provide .38 cal dummy rounds) • Eye and Hearing Protection • Baseball cap • Small note book and pen / pencil (and back-up pen or pencil) to take notes. • Please wear comfortable clothes as you will have hands-on practice with the pistol as well as doing various drills with your handgun and shooting at the outdoor range (NO SHORTS and/or OPEN CHEST T-SHIRTS, NO CROCKS and/or SANDALS PLEASE.) • Bring extra clothing appropriate for the weather conditions. • Make sure you bring your positive attitude and willingness to learn 360 DEFENSOR Training & Consulting | 818-943-0941 3537 Old Conejo Road Suite 120, Newbury Park, CA 91320
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 72 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a refund. Stripe payment processing fee (2.9% + 0.30 cents) will be deducted from the original amount paid for the class. Classes cancelled less than 72 hours before the class will not be refunded.
