What You'll Learn
Upon successfully completing this course, you will become a USCCA Certified Instructor uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. This course has become the nation’s leading curriculum for law-abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. When it comes to firearms fundamentals and concealed carry and home defense concepts, you will provide your students with high-quality material and help them understand the ‘why’ behind training concepts. Class Preparation: You must complete the corresponding online learning course. (Automatically sent to you upon registering for the class.) Day 1: you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics including: - Top ten instructor mistakes and how to avoid them - Teaching best practices - Running a safe live fire range Day 2: You’ll have a chance to: - Demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers - Run a live fire range, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire By combining the knowledge of the USCCA and your passion for training more responsibly armed Americans, you can be assured that you’ve found the instructor certification for you.
If you are attending the USCCA Instructor Course, as an Instructor Candidate, you understand you must meet all requirements of the course as defined by the USCCA as well as the Training Counselor of Guardian Training & Consulting. This includes the retainment of the knowledge, successful teach-backs, and passing the live-fire shooting qualification. Failure to do so will result in failure of the course and no refunds will occur. No exceptions.
Cancellation Policy: Due to limited seating, Guardian Training & Consulting requests that the student/client cancel at least 24 hours prior to a scheduled class. This gives Guardian Training & Consulting the opportunity to fill the class. The student/client may cancel by email or online here. If the student/client must cancel their class, Guardian Training & Consulting offers the student/client a credit to their account if they cancel prior to the 24 hours. Guardian Training & Consulting does not offer refunds as a regular practice. The student/client may use these credits towards any future classes within 180 days of the class they cancelled. After 180 days, the tuition and credit for future classes will be forfeited. There are certain exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis as determined by Guardian Training & Consulting. If there is no notice prior to the start of the class or lesson, the student/client agrees to forfeit all tuition and no credits for future classes will be honored.
