What You'll Learn
Class description: Learn the basics of shooting with a Pistol Mounted Optic (PMO). Students will learn the correct way to use a PMO pistol through efficient marksmanship mechanics and a variety of dry and live fire drills. We will discuss several topics including: Optic Zero (10 to 15 yards recommended), Optics MOA, Open Emitter VS. Enclosed Emitter, Parallax, Transitioning to your Iron Sights. Students will sharpen their fundamental handgun skills and gain a much better understanding of a Pistol Mounted Optic and its advantages, such as improving the performance of the aged eye shooter, having a single focal plane sighting system, to utilizing the PMO as a self-diagnostic training tool and much more. There will be dry and live fire drills covering how to zero a pistol mounted optic, engage a target should the optic fail, mechanical offset, initial sight acquisition, equipment maintenance, different optic mounting systems and different types of pistol
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 24 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 24 hours before the class will not be refunded.
