What You'll Learn
This is a basic course focusing on safety and marksmanship fundamentals for beginners or shooters that want to hone their basic skills with a combat carbine. Completion of this course will set you on the right path to meet the requirements for our more advanced combat rifle course. All instruction for this course will take place on a live fire range.
What We'll Teach • Zeroing Optic (Iron Sights Acceptable) • Understanding Mechanical Offset • Safe Manipulation of a Carbine • Mindset • Stance • Carbine Care and Maintenance • Accurately Engage Targets at Varying Distances (Out to 100 Yards) • Reloads (Emergency/Tactical) • Malfunction Identification • Malfunction Clearing • Basic Positional Shooting (Standing/Kneeling/Prone) • Transitions Between Multiple Targets
Upon completion of this course you will gain confidence with your chosen carbine platform and be able to accurately engage targets at varying distances from different positions. This is the most basic carbine course offered by Armed Everyday and a great place to start to build good habits through repetition with our knowledgeable and experienced team of instructors. This course is open to anyone interested in becoming more proficient with their carbine regardless of experience or skill level. Combat shooting with a carbine is very different from hunting or other recreational rifle shooting and requires a different set of skills. This is a great way to start your journey to becoming a more well rounded shooter. Thank you for considering us and we hope to train with you soon!
