What You'll Learn
Upon completion of this course you will be able to safely draw your pistol from a holster and engage a threat accurately. Our CCW class gives you the knowledge to defend yourself, here you will put that knowledge into practice. This course is designed for new shooters or shooters that want to improve their marksmanship by learning from and training with our knowledgeable and experienced team of instructors. There is no prerequisite course to attend, this class is open to anyone regardless of skill level or training. What you learn in this class will give you the skills necessary to take our more advanced courses and continue to build on what you learned here. Thank you for considering us and we hope to train with you soon!
This course is not a requirement for a concealed carry permit in the state of Arizona and will not be sufficient in obtaining a CCW permit. This is a live fire range only course for new shooters and shooters that want to work on the basic marksmanship fundamentals of shooting a handgun.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
This lesson will continue with the basics, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Location: Highway 82 between Sonoita and Whetstone AZ Concealed Carry holsters are not permitted for this course. OWB (Outside the Waistband) holster is recommended.
