Advanced Pistol Dynamics Course Date and Duration: October 10, 2026 from 1 P.M. - 5 P.M. Location: Lake Martin Machine Gun 2520 Red Hill Road Eclectic, Al 36024 Course Description: The objective of this course is to learn the fundamentals of advanced pistol manipulation. Students will be instructed on situation based equipment, multiple reloading techniques, different shooting positions and many other skills / drills. Students must be familiar with their firearm and follow all firearm safety rules throughout the entirety of the course. Safety violations may result in removal from the course. Completion of the course does NOT certify you or permit you to teach this course. A maximum of fifteen (15) slots are available for this course. Smaller classes ensure equal participation and training for all students. The class will begin at 1:00 PM and will continue until 5:00 PM. There will be short intermissions throughout the course. Equipment Needed: • Students will need to bring their own pistol UNLOADED (Chamber flags will be provided) • Wrap around eye protection / safety glasses and Electronic ear protection (Both can be rented on site) • 3 unloaded magazines for the pistol you intend to use for the course • Rigid body holster (IWB / OWB either Kydex or formed rigid leather / equivalent) • Pistol magazine pouch / holder • Minimum of 150 rounds of ammunition for the pistol you intend to use for the course Instructors: Instructors for this course are all current law enforcement officers within the state of Alabama. All instructors have multiple levels of S.W.A.T. training and certifications. All instructors have served or actively serve on a S.W.A.T. team.
