Delta Defense Announces New Chief Revenue Officer
West Bend, WI | Oct 23, 2024 – Delta Defense CEO & USCCA Chairman Tim Schmidt announced today the appointment of Jay Gauthier as the company’s new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), effective September 17, 2024.
With over 40 years of experience in insurance, tech, marketing, business development, and executive leadership, Jay Gauthier brings unparalleled knowledge and expertise to his new role as Delta Defense’s CRO.
Jay is responsible for overseeing Delta Defense’s sales operations, customer service, training, and affinity business units, and will play a significant leadership role in guiding the company’s business strategy to support its long-term growth objectives.
Prior to joining Delta Defense, Jay served as CMO and Head of Direct Markets for Travelers Insurance, a $40 billion publicly traded insurance company with over 30,000 employees located throughout the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland. In this role, Jay had full P&L accountability for its Direct Markets business and was responsible for overall strategy, business performance, innovation platforms, and profitability for this alternative distribution channel inside the Personal Insurance business unit of Travelers Insurance.
Previous to his time with Travelers Insurance, Jay held executive leadership roles at industry-leading companies such as Microsoft, Compaq, and IBM.
