Delta Defense Announces New Chief Financial Officer
West Bend, WI | Oct 9, 2024 – Delta Defense CEO & USCCA Chairman Tim Schmidt announced today the appointment of Geoff DeMartino as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective July 8, 2024.
With over 25 years of experience in finance leadership, corporate development, and investment banking roles, Geoff DeMartino brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role as Delta Defense’s CFO.
Geoff is responsible for overseeing Delta Defense’s financial operations, strategic acquisitions, capital allocation, legal and compliance functions, and will play a significant leadership role in guiding the company’s financial and business strategy to support its long-term growth objectives.
Prior to joining Delta Defense, Geoff served as CFO of Hub Group, a $5 billion publicly traded freight transportation and logistics company with over 5,000 employees. In this role, Geoff had responsibility for accounting, financial reporting and analysis, investor relations, treasury management, and acquisition strategy. During his tenure, Hub Group completed over $1 billion of acquisitions and divestitures, building scale within existing businesses and diversifying into new services.
Previous to his time with Hub Group, Geoff held several executive roles in corporate development and investment banking, and led acquisition and financing transactions for multiple publicly traded companies.
