USCCA Thanks Our Veterans and Shares the Story of Almost Sunrise
United States Concealed Carry Association Thanks Our Nation’s Veterans
November 11, 2017
West Bend, WI – The United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) has offered the following statement honoring those who have served in our nation’s armed forces on Veteran’s Day:
“On behalf of myself, my family and the entire USCCA community, we would like to offer our thanks and praise to our nation’s veterans, who have sacrificed so much to protect the rights and freedoms that all Americans hold dear,” said Tim Schmidt, Founder & President of the United States Concealed Carry Association.
“Our mission here at USCCA would not be possible without the sacrifice of our nation’s veterans, and we are proud to say that veterans make up more than ten percent of our organization’s workforce. This Veteran’s Day, we will recognize that sacrifice and remember those who have fought to protect our nation.”
Every single day 22 veterans will tragically end their lives. It’s this alarming statistic that inspired a film crew to capture this story of hope, healing, and inner transformation. The United States Concealed Carry Association is proud to have one of the veterans on staff, Anthony Anderson, appear in the film Almost Sunrise, which calls attention to these unsung veterans’ inner pain. The film is also an urgent call to action for communities to better understand the invisible wounds of those who defend our freedoms. In a special Veterans Day offer, those interested can purchase the film at the USCCA website. For every copy you purchase, we’ll send a second to share the share Almost Sunrise’s heartfelt story with someone you know; it could very well save a life or bring understanding to a family in need of a ray of hope.
